Overview
As Rancho Labs expanded its ecommerce platform, one challenge became clear: stakeholders didn’t have an easy way to monitor performance. The data existed, but in formats only developers could understand.
I designed a desktop-first super admin panel that turns raw numbers into clear dashboards. It gives the team a single place to see sales, product activity, user behavior, and live engagement — all in a format that’s easy to scan and act on.
Note: Branding, colors, and data have been customized for privacy and portfolio use.
Problem
Everyday questions like “Which products are selling the most?” or “What’s happening on the site right now?” required digging into technical reports. The process was slow and made quick decision-making difficult.
Goal
The tool needed to bring sales, product, and user analytics into one place, while also visualizing website engagement and live activity. The challenge was to present all of this information in a way that felt clear and intuitive — something anyone could understand at a glance.
Process
From wireframes to polished dashboards, I kept the process quick and focused. I started by studying stakeholder needs and mapping existing reporting flows, then sketched wireframes to define the information hierarchy. From there, I moved directly into high-fidelity designs, iterating heavily on charts and layouts to ensure clarity. Finally, I built an interactive prototype to test navigation and usability, making sure the experience worked seamlessly end-to-end.
Solution
The final dashboard is clean, visual, and built around simple navigation. Each section — from overall performance to product insights, user behavior, and live activity — is designed to give stakeholders clarity without overwhelming them.
Prototype
I created a Figma prototype to showcase how the dashboard works in practice.
Learnings
This project taught me how different it is to design for internal stakeholders — where success isn’t about flashy visuals, but about how fast someone can find answers.
Working desktop-only also allowed me to design dense, information-rich layouts while keeping everything clear and readable.
